Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Summon Pro application (“App”). By installing or using this App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
1.0 Disclaimer of Liability
Summon Pro is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied.
You assume full responsibility for the use of this App and the operation of your Tesla vehicle. The developer of Summon Pro shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
- Vehicle collisions or property damage
- Personal injury or loss of life
- Legal consequences from unauthorized or inappropriate vehicle operation
- Violations of Tesla’s terms of service
- Interruption or loss of access due to Tesla API changes
Use of this App is at your own risk.
2.0 Intended Use
Summon Pro is intended for use only in safe, off-road, and low-speed environments, such as private parking lots. You are solely responsible for ensuring that:
- The vehicle is used in a legal and permitted environment
- The path is clear of pedestrians, vehicles, and obstacles
- You maintain visual oversight of the car at all times
- You comply with all local laws and traffic regulations
- You are the authorized driver of the vehicle in use
You must not use this App to summon a vehicle in public roads, highways, or any location where remote vehicle operation is restricted, unsafe, or prohibited.
3.0 No Affiliation with Tesla
Summon Pro is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Tesla, Inc.
All trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners.
Use of Tesla’s API and vehicle systems is subject to their own terms and policies, which you are solely responsible for understanding and complying with.
4.0 Data and Connectivity
The App may temporarily process data such as vehicle identification numbers (VINs), IP addresses, or session tokens in order to communicate with the Tesla Fleet API. No personally identifying information is collected or stored by the developer.
You are responsible for safeguarding your Tesla account credentials and access tokens.
5.0 API Access and Service Availability
Functionality of the App depends on Tesla’s systems and APIs, which are subject to change, limitation, or revocation without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or continued access.
Due to limitations in Tesla’s Smart Summon system, there may be instances where the vehicle becomes unresponsive mid-route or activates hazard lights without continuing movement. This can occur if Tesla’s software loses confidence in its environment, or if the spoofed phone location is no longer deemed valid.
In such cases, the vehicle may require physical intervention to resume operation or exit the Summon state. Summon Pro does not control or override Tesla’s internal decision-making or safety halts.
You are solely responsible for being prepared to manually retrieve or recover your vehicle should such behavior occur.
6.0 Indemnification
By using the App, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the App or your vehicle.
7.0 Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
